Hi, I’m Alina! I’m a German Shepherd & Malinois mix and seem to have gotten the best aspects of both breeds. I’ve loved my time at the Ranch so far, all the volunteers have been great to me and I’ve loved meeting all the other dogs. I’m exceptionally smart and energetic but also can turn it off. I will play tug with the big dogs, and maybe even chase them around a bit. Mental stimulation is great, teach me all the commands please! I also love puzzle games and if I can’t figure out how to open it, I’ll carry it around the room and throw it around until treats come out. I have spent time with a foster family and gotten along great with the humans and the dogs in the house. I know how lucky I am, as I was rescued the day before I was to be euthanized, so I’m determined to make everyday count. If you are interested in meeting this dog, please fill out our online application first. Contact us via email at info@coastalK9gsr.org. The minimum adoption donation ranges from $300 to $400. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible. Prior to placement, all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are usually microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis. Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
