This is a courtesy post for Romeo:

Romeo was taken in by a southern California shelter volunteer just before he was to be euthanized. Romeo was being confused with another dog who had been having multiple grand mal seizures. Romeo is healthy and never had any seizures. After this was cleared up she was told that he was already out of the system with the only option to be saved to take him then and there.  She did.  It was learned that Romeo was at the shelter after being relinquished by his owner, along with another dog. His owner was recently handicapped and could no longer care for them. Romeo has had training, and he knows basic commands and possibly more. He is 2 yrs old.

Romeo is cautious and protective of his people, but bonds easily with people who is introduced to him. He LOVES to fetch a ball and is easy to exercise. He was living with another dog, but we don’t know how he would do with other dogs.

Please contact Linda at 760-8551937 for more information about Romeo.
